# Reports in the SmartPOS Business app

> See sales, profit, expenses, returns, unpaid invoices, sales trend and top products on your phone, by period and location, and share or export them.

**Reports** in SmartPOS Business gives owners and managers the numbers that matter on one screen: sales, profit, expenses, returns, what customers still owe and what sells best – for today, a week, a month or any period, per location.

## Open the reports

Open **Reports** (**More › Reports** or the Quick menu). Choose the period – **Today**, **7 days**, **30 days**, **This month**, **This year** or **Custom** – and the **Location** (or **All locations**).

## What you see

- **Net profit** (or net loss) with **Gross margin** and **Sales**, and the change **vs previous** period.
- Cards for **Sales**, **Gross profit**, **Expenses** and **Returns** (with **Discounts** given).
- **Sales trend** – a chart of sales and gross profit with the amount **still due**.
- **Unpaid invoices** and **Unpaid purchases**.
- **Profit & loss** – sales, **Cost of goods sold**, **Discounts given**, **Shipping charged**, expenses, opening and closing stock.
- **Top products** – **By gross profit** and **Best sellers** (by units sold). Tap **See all** for the full list, by product, category, customer and more.

Use **Share or export** to **Share as image** or **Export CSV**.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which reports are in the app?

A dashboard with net profit, sales, gross profit, expenses and returns, a sales trend, unpaid invoices and purchases, profit and loss, top products by gross profit and best sellers by units. Detailed reports stay on the web.

### Can I see one location only?

Yes. Use the Location filter, or All locations if your role may see several.

### Can I send a report to my partner?

Yes. Use Share or export to share it as an image or export a CSV.

### Why don't I see profit figures?

Profit needs the profit and loss permission. Staff without it see sales figures only.

### Are the numbers the same as on the web?

Yes. They come from the same data as the web reports.
