## Shop setup

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I open the shop before the online store is ready?

Yes. Go live at the till first. Add the online store, widgets and Shopper app once products have photos and descriptions.

### What should I test before the first customer?

Scan a tag and sell it, take a return as an exchange for another size, pay with store credit, and check that a running discount applies.

### Do I need to finish all size charts first?

No, but attach charts to your best-selling categories before you open the online store, because online shoppers can't try things on.

### Who should be allowed to accept returns?

Give the return permissions to managers or senior staff only, and the Override the return policy permission to the owner.
