Many gyms earn as much from the shake bar and the shelf as from extra memberships. This page sets up **supplements, drinks, apparel and accessories** and sells them at the gym POS. It is for the owner or manager.

## Import products from the Product Library

1. Open **Products › Product Library** and choose **Mart / Karyana / General store**.
2. Open **Health & Pharmacy** (**Vitamins & Supplements**, **Herbal & Wellness**) or **Beverages** for water, energy and sports drinks.
3. Tick what you stock and click **Import**.
4. Set purchase and selling prices with **Products › Update Price** and enter opening stock per branch ([Opening stock](https://docs.smartposhub.com/catalog/opening-stock/)).

## Add your own items

Use **Products › Add Product** for things the library does not have:

- **Shakes and smoothies** made at the bar: a single product, stock management off.
- **Apparel**: a variable product with sizes ([Variable products](https://docs.smartposhub.com/catalog/variable-products/)).
- **Locks, towels, foam rollers**: single products with stock and barcodes.
- **Services** such as a fitness assessment: a service product with no stock ([Combo and service products](https://docs.smartposhub.com/catalog/combo-and-service-products/)).

## Sell at the POS

Open the POS, pick the member (or keep **Walk-In Customer**), tap or scan the items and take payment. Use the **Gym membership** button on the same screen to sell or renew a plan; it is saved as its own sale and does not touch the cart.

**Tip:**
Put your fastest sellers (shakes, water, locks) in **POS screen Featured Products** on the branch's location form, so staff find them in one tap.

Record deliveries as [purchases](https://docs.smartposhub.com/inventory/purchases/), move stock between branches with [stock transfers](https://docs.smartposhub.com/inventory/stock-transfers/) and check **Reports › Stock Report** weekly.

## Frequently asked questions

### Where can I import supplements from?

Products › Product Library, Mart / Karyana / General store catalog. Look in Health & Pharmacy (Vitamins & Supplements, Herbal & Wellness) and Beverages. You add your own prices and stock after importing.

### How do I sell leggings in sizes?

Create a variable product with a size variation (XS to XL). Each size has its own stock and barcode and shows as its own tile on the POS.

### Should a day pass be a product or a membership package?

If day-pass visitors must pass the check-in desk, make it a membership package (for example Day Pass, 1 day). If you only want to charge an entry fee, a simple service product at the POS is enough.

### Can a member put a shake on their account?

Yes. Pick the member as the POS customer and use Credit Sale or a part payment. It shows in their ledger next to membership dues.

### Do smoothies made at the bar need stock?

Not necessarily. Sell made-to-order items as products without stock management, and keep stock on bottled and packaged goods.
