SmartPOS Hub setup guides for every business type

View as .mdUpdated

These guides show you how to set up SmartPOS Hub for your exact trade, step by step: locations, products, the POS, credit customers and the daily routine. Pick the business closest to yours. Each guide starts with an overview that lists every step, the modules to switch on and the time it takes.

Read Getting started first: it covers sign-up, business settings, several locations and users and roles, which every guide builds on. Then come back here and pick your trade.

Frequently asked questions

Which guide should I follow if my business is a mix of two types?

Start with the guide for the part that makes most of your sales, then read the overview of the second type and switch on only the extra modules it lists. For example, a café with a bakery counter follows the Café guide and adds the Manufacturing steps from the Bakery guide.

Do all guides start the same way?

Yes. Every guide starts with business settings and locations, then products (Product Library or Import prebuilt where available), then selling. The trade-specific steps (tables, prescriptions, repairs, memberships…) come after that.

Can I try a business type before setting up my own account?

Yes. Each type has a public demo account with sample data that resets every few days. Ask SmartPOS Hub support for the demo login of your trade.

My trade isn't listed. What do I do?

Follow the guide closest to how you sell. Retail shops usually fit Mart or Hardware, service businesses fit Salon & spa, and anything with a kitchen fits Restaurant or Café. The Getting started section works for every business.

Do I need every module a guide mentions?

No. Each guide marks which modules are needed and which are optional. Switch on only what you use in Settings › Business Settings › Modules; you can add more later.

How long does setup take?

Most guides take one to three hours for a single location with a ready-made catalog. Big catalogs, several branches or custom menus take longer; you can sell from day one and finish the rest gradually.
