Frequently asked questions

Should I enter old open jobs?

Yes, for cars still in the shop on go-live day. Book each in as a job card with its status and any deposit already taken.

How do I test without real customers?

Create a test customer, book a test car, add parts and labour, convert it, return the sale and delete the job, or test before you enter opening stock.

What is the most common go-live mistake?

Labour created with Manage Stock ticked. The POS then says out of stock. Untick Manage Stock? on every labour product.

Do technicians need their own logins?

Yes. Assigned technician, comments and reports work per user.
