Frequently asked questions

How do I bring in what customers already owe me?

Enter it as the Opening Balance on each customer, or import customers with their opening balance using Contacts › Import Contacts.

What is the most common go-live mistake?

Opening stock entered in cartons instead of pieces, or in the wrong depot. Check Reports › Stock Report by location before the first sale.

Do I need sales orders from day one?

No. Many distributors start invoicing directly and add sales orders later.

Should reps have the owner login?

No. Give each rep their own user with only selling and customer permissions, edited in User Management › Roles.
