Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum I need before the first booking?

The Hotel module switched on, hotel settings saved, at least one room type with a price, the rooms, and a front-desk user. Policies, extras and outlets can follow.

Should I enter existing future bookings?

Yes. Enter every confirmed future stay with its deposit before you go live, so the calendar and availability are right from day one.

How do I train the front desk quickly?

Have each person create a booking, check a test guest in and out and take a part payment. Cancel the test bookings afterwards.

Who do I contact if something doesn't work?

Check Troubleshooting first, then contact support through smartposhub.com/contact.
