Frequently asked questions
How long does a convenience store setup take?
Most stores are ready in a day. The Product Library import takes minutes; prices and opening stock take the longest.
What is the most common mistake?
Cashiers sharing one login. Registers, shortages and reports follow the user, so each cashier needs their own.
Should I test the scanner before opening?
Yes. Scan twenty random products from the shelf; any that are not found need their barcode added to the SKU.
Do I need Scan & Go on day one?
No. Start with the till and add Scan & Go once staff are comfortable.
